Banquet Pictures - Tuscany Restaurant
photos by Tom Mulick

Seventy members came to this year's banquet.

The Greene's know the banquet is always a good time.

The food is great and good friends recount the stories of a great season of riding, touring and racing.

The Top Ten riders were awarded trophies. Here Killian accepts his prize for highest mileage for the men.

Cindy got first prize for top female mileage.

After the awards for top mileage, best new ride, Bob Savio Good Samaritan Award, etc. are presented, Kris and Ella, the banquet chairmen, enjoy reminding us of the silly things that happen during the year.

Ask someone who was at the banquet how this happened.
Good Husband/Bad Husband

Tom, last year's winner of the Broken Helmet Award, presents it to Brian, this year's winner.

Caught by a local policeman riding around a barricade in mid-summer, these riders thought they had escaped punishment.

Pat won a prize as most improved female rider this year. This is in spite of the fact that she also had an incredible number of flat tires and was crowned Queen of Flats.

Having been called front and center for the next award, Joe and Bob nervously await their fate.

Here are some of the "table shots" taken by our roving photographer.
Buffalo Grove Police Department Bike Rodeo

Two Wheelmen adjusting helmets for one of the 102 kids who participated in this year's Buffalo Grove Police Department Bike Rodeo.

Sheri, Linda and Emily covered the morning shift.

Nice fit on the helmet!

One of Buffalo Grove's finest checks the skills of one of the young riders.

This year's Memorial Day Ride had more riders than could fit in the picture.

After climbing Blackhawk, Huntington and Cardinal, the gang re-groups at the rest stop on the Honey Do Ride.

TOMRV is a popular mid-June ride with the Wheelmen. It was cold this year.

Several Wheelmen took part in the Senior Olympics in Park Ridge and won lots of metals, too!

The club picnic always includes a good ride and good food. Just ask these guys!

Year after year, Al and Cindy Schneider do all the planning and cooking for the picnics. No one has ever left hungry or thirsty.
